Panagiotis V. Kouloumentas born in Munich, graduated from the Medical School of Athens University in 2000. He specialized in Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Evangelismos Hospital and KAT Hospital in Athens.During the years 2007 and 2008 he trained in Sport injuries and Arthroscopy Fellowship Program at the Sport Orthopaedic Clinic of the Technical University of Munich (Rechts der Isar) under Professor Andreas Imhoff as a clinical and research fellow.

Panagiotis Kouloumentas was the Head Doctor and Surgeon in Panathinaikos FC for more than 12 years. He is Director of the Orthopaedics and Sport Orthopaedics department at Metropolitan Hospital in Athens. The mission of this clinic is to offer the highest level of services in the treatment of sport injuries and Orthopaedic problems to patients who want to remain active and enjoy life and sport activities. He is Member of the Greek, European, and International Arthroscopic associations EEXOT, EAE, ESSKA, ISAKOS, AAOS. He is elected in 2022 to be the next President of the of the Hellenic Arthroscopic Association
