Dr. Alper Kaya is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon specializing in knee surgery, with expertise in sports traumatology and arthroplasty.
He currently serves as President of the Turkish Sports Traumatology Society and is recognized as an Accredited Teacher by the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA). Dr. Kaya completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul School of Medicine and residency at Baskent University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
He further honed his skills as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on knee surgery and sports medicine under the mentorship of Professors Freddie Fu and Christopher Harner. With a wealth of clinical experience, Dr. Kaya has contributed significantly to the field through numerous publications, presentations, and leadership roles in national and international orthopaedic societies.
